Aluzinc steel is coated with an aluminium-zinc-silicon alloy through a continuous hot-dip process. The coating typically contains approximately 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon, combining the protective characteristics of aluminium and zinc.
Compared with conventional galvanized steel, aluminium-zinc coated steel is widely selected for applications requiring good atmospheric corrosion resistance, heat reflectivity and long-term outdoor performance.
AZ150 Aluzinc Coil
AZ150 is one of the most commonly requested coating designations for aluzinc coils.
The designation means that the total nominal coating mass on both sides of the steel sheet is 150 g/m². It does not mean that each side has a 150 g/m² coating.
