1. Billet Production
Continuous Casting: The processed molten steel is poured into a mold and cooled and solidified to form a billet. Common billets include billets (large billets) and slabs (flat billets).
Bill Production: After heating, rust removal, and burning, the billet undergoes rough and finish rolling, ultimately producing billets with smaller cross-sections.
2. Bar Rolling
Heating: The billet is fed into a heating furnace and heated to the appropriate recrystallization temperature.
Multi-stage Rolling: The heated billet passes through a roughing mill, an intermediate mill, and a finishing mill.
Forming: After rolling, the billet is gradually reduced in size and ultimately rolled into the finished bar size.
3. Post-Processing
Coil or Bar: Depending on the product requirements, wire rod is coiled into coils using a coiler. Bar steel undergoes bar processing.
Cooling: After rolling, the steel bars need to be cooled to stabilize their microstructure.
Finishing and Inspection: After cooling, the steel bars undergo shearing, collection, and packaging. Some bars may also undergo finishing processes such as pickling and anti-corrosion treatment.
Finally, after these steps, the steel bars complete the manufacturing process and become finished products ready for use in downstream industries.
